In our personal opinions, Black Friday is on the top-tier list of events, next to Christmas and 4th of July. How could you not enjoy viewing strangers battle head-to-head early in the morning or get a new sweatshirt for yourself? Black Friday is the one time a year you can spend lots of money and not feel guilty about it. There are already a few stores who have begun their Black Friday deals, and here is a list of some of our favorites:
Aritzia:
If you have been wanting pieces from Aritzia, now is your time to purchase! Their “Black Fiveday,” which has already begun, will feature items marked down 30-50% off. Since this is one of their only sales in the year, items will sell out fast, so purchase them soon!
Alo:
Alo is also a brand that rarely has sales throughout the year. Their Black Friday sale will feature 30% off all full-price items and up to an additional 70% off sale items. This sale begins Nov. 25 and will run until Dec. 3. Do not miss your chance to purchase a new sweat set, pair of leggings or hoodie during this sale.
Skims:
Skims calls their Black Friday sale their “Bi-Annual sale” which features major discounts on their best-sellers and more. True to the title, this sale only happens twice a year: once in spring and the other during Black Friday. This sale has already begun and allows you to save up to 50% off. Be sure to shop now, before items sell out!
Princess Polly:
Like many Royals, Princess Polly is one of my favorite stores for dresses and tops. And on this Black Friday, the whole store will be up to 35% online.
Pacsun:
Pacsun’s sale has already begun and features an extra 30% off sitewide with free shipping. If you love Pacsun jeans, this is a perfect time to pick up a new pair because all jeans are 35% off. Make sure to stop by or visit their website before the sale ends!
Lululemon:
You definitely do not want to miss Lululemon’s “We Made Too Much” section. During Black Friday, the Lululemon stores and site fill up with discounted items. This section features their best-selling items like their leggings, shorts, tops and more. To take advantage of this sale, be sure to arrive at a Lululemon store on Nov. 29 starting at 7 a.m. at all locations.
These are just a few of the stores that will have Black Friday deals, so make sure to check out any other brands. Some stores that deserve honorable mentions are Hollister (40% off everything), White Fox (25-30% off) and Selfie Leslie (up to 85% off). Aurora Ortuno ‘26 is very excited for Black Friday. She exclaimed, “As much as I hate shopping, Black Friday is the only exception to buy random things and things I definitely do not need. I can’t wait to check out the stores.” Black Friday is definitely an exception to splurge and spend money on yourself! Also, Madilyn Kim ’27 says she is “looking forward to all of the Black Friday discounts, but the only downside is I have to wake up early.” Black Friday is amazing, and the sacrifice of waking up early is worth it!
