If you have read my most recent articles, you’d notice a common pattern with the topics I tend to write aboutbeauty advice, recommendation, or tips. For my last article, I have decided to compile my best beauty advice or specific beauty products that I believe are worth buying and expressing to all of you.

  1. Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is your best friend. If you wash your hair everyday, this might not be the right product for you. I cannot even stress about how important and essential dry shampoo is for your hair. A few sprays (always spray from a distance) into the roots of your hair, brush through it, and your hair is looking fresh, volumized, and brand new. A few brands that I would recommend are Amika, Not Your Mother’s, Batiste, and Living Proof. A little goes a long way, and make sure you only spray the product at the roots of your hair for the best effect.

  1. Blowout Brush

Having a blowout brush on hand is perfect for when you are too lazy to style your hair once it is dry, or when you do not want to fully blow dry your hair. If you do not have the funds to purchase a blowout brush, you can always purchase a round brush and use a blow dryer to achieve a simple blowout look. Only use the blowout brush once your hair is about 60 to 75 percent dry, and make sure you always add head protectant or hair oil prior to using the brush on your hair. Although it takes some time to figure out how to use the brush properly, after a few times of using it, you will eventually get the hang of it, and your hair will thank you. The top three blowout brushes I would recommend are Revlon, Amika, and DryBar. Revlon is your best bet if you are looking for the most affordable product.

This is the best hair product you could ever purchase in your life.

Although the DryBar brush may be a little more expensive, the heat is less likely to damage and dry our your hair.

  1. Always have jewelry on

This next one is a little specific; however, not wearing jewelry can almost make you feel naked. Jewelry is essential because it completes a final look. Even when you are at school in your Rosary uniform, wearing simple hoop earrings, or a dainty small necklace will elevate the look. If you want to look like you always look put together, then wear jewelry. Earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, anything. I get itsometimes, it’s hard to constantly have to put jewelry on and then take it off. Some of the best brands that will never rust are Gorjana, Kendra Scott, Made Ya Look (owned by two Rosary alumn), and any product that is plated gold. I have pieces from these brands and I go in the ocean, shower, pool, etc, and they have not rusted once. If you do not want to splurge all your money on jewelry, Amazon is your best bet. You can find just about anything on there; however, there is a greater chance these pieces will rust, so make sure you do not wear them in the water.

  1. Staple wardrobe pieces

A few ways to elevate your wardrobe is by having staple pieces. Staple pieces include simple colors like black, white, grey, tan, etc. If you have tops, pants, tees, or any pieces of clothing in those colors, it is so much easier to match your wardrobe. These staple colors match with just about anything, and they can easily be styled in a cute and casual way. Tank tops, t-shirts, pants, jeans, you name it. The more staple pieces you have, the easier it is to match other pieces in your closet. You can find the best basic pieces at Brandy Melville, Amazon, and Cotton On.

  1. Liquid makeup products

This one speaks for itself. Throw out all your powder-based makeup productsliquid products are in. With summer coming up, you do not want your makeup to look matte and powder like. For summer, it’s more fitting to look dewy and glowy. Tinted moisturizer, liquid blush, liquid bronzer, liquid highlighter, you need it all. Sephora is a dangerous place; however, once you purchase some new LIQUID products, your new makeup routine will look a thousand times better. Some of the best brands for liquid products are Elf, Rare Beauty, Milk, Charlotte Tilbury, and Laura Mercier. Elevate your makeup look this summer, and I can guarantee you everyone will be asking how you achieve such a dewy and glowy look.

  1. TJ Maxx

For my last and final piece of advice, I am going to reveal my secret to finding the best name brand products for a fraction of the original priceTJ Maxx. Ever heard of Free People, Zara, Urban Outfitters? Stop paying full price at the regular stores, and go to TJ Maxx instead. I have found Free People workout shorts, tops, shorts, jeans, etc. for almost 50 to 75 percent off the original price. A few weeks ago, I found an Urban Outfitters dress there for only $15. You could say my addiction to TJ Maxx is relatively unhealthy; however, you will not understand the addiction until you have set foot into the store yourself. I could spend hours in there, and not only do they sell name brand for clothes, but they also sell name brands for makeup, purses, shoes, and jewelry. It cannot get any better than that.

I hope this gave you some inspiration on ways to elevate your wardrobe, makeup, hair, or anything else. With summer coming right around the corner, if you listen to this advice, I can guarantee people will be asking you tons of questions on where you get certain products or how you perfect your makeup and hair routine.
