After a busy Red and Gold season, the Academy is looking forward to a much-needed week off. This year, many Royals are venturing out of Orange County for spring break. Keep reading to find out about the cool destinations Rosary students will travel to over their week off.
This year, Hawaii is a popular destination, for good reason. With perfect weather, warm water, and beautiful views, Hawaii is always a hot spot for travelers. Jazzy Sandoval ‘25 plans to travel to Honolulu on her Hawaiian vacation: “I am so excited to relax, not have to worry about homework, and hopefully get a good tan!” Christina Vaughan ’26 will also be in Hawaii for her week off. “I’m going to the island of Kaui and I’m so excited to enjoy the beach and relax with my family over spring break.”
Tahlia Jain ’26 will spend her spring break on the Midwest touring colleges. It is always smart to get ahead of the whole college process and touring schools is a great way to find out where you might see yourself in the future. Tahlia shares where she will be visiting: “I’m visiting six schools in the Midwest. I’m most excited to see Oberlin and UChicago, and I’m looking forward to seeing all the different states and to trying Chicago pizza!”
A group of Royals will be traveling to Europe on the school trip. Rosary Academy offers an annual trip over spring break to all students. Last year, a group explored London and Ireland. This year, Royals will be traveling to France and Spain. Caitlin Smith, a senior attending the spring break trip, shares, “I wanted to go on the Europe trip mainly for France. I’ve been taking French for the past four years and really wanted to see the French culture for myself before the AP test! I’m looking forward to going out of the country for the first time with Lianna Enright ’24 and eating all the different European foods.”
Finally, many Royals are planning on keeping it low-key on their spring breaks. Perhaps a few day trips or overnight vacations for some fun adventures. Siena Lopez ‘24 will be taking a trip down to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park for a day of fun. Senior Sarah Quiros shares, “I plan on driving down to San Clemente over break. I love getting coffee, breakfast, and going to the beach. It’s so pretty.”
Whether you are traveling near or far, take your week off to relax and enjoy. Happy spring break, Royals!
