The countdown is officially on. Sugar plums are already dancing in my head. My tree is up and covered with every ornament I own, and my house quite literally smells like an evergreen and peppermint wonderland. All of my favorite traditions are around the corner, and I can’t wait to celebrate the season with all of my family and friends.

An integral part of celebrating the holiday season is with presents, of course! I have learned to love the art of holiday shopping to pick out the perfect presents for all of my loved ones. But with giving comes receiving, and before you can open all the perfect presents, you have to craft the perfect Christmas list. My Christmas list is unrecognizable to younger me who was only concerned with getting the hottest toy of the season. But, I think we can all agree our Christmas lists have drastically changed over the years.

With that said, I decided to do some official research and ask around to see what our own Royals remember begging for on their wish lists! Here is a nostalgic list of toys everyone asked to receive for Christmas when we were kids:

I know as I prepare to celebrate the last Christmas of my childhood, getting to remember all of the random things that brought me endless hours of joy on Christmas Day has definitely boosted my serotonin.
