This past Tues., May 12, was our Senior Awards Night! The event was held in the Karcher Center at 6:30 p.m. Royal Seniors got dressed up to receive cords for graduation.
The awards given out included the various levels of honor roll, academic merit awards for each class, CSF, NHS, SNHS, scholarships, the Mother St. John Fontbonne Award, certificates of excellence for each class, AP awards, sports awards, cords for different involvements on campus, honors societies and stoles for our Royals in academic pathways.
The Counseling Department did a fantastic job of putting together this special night. One particularly decorated senior, Melina Gonzalez, commented, “I really enjoyed attending honors night and getting to celebrate with my classmates one last time. I am very proud of our whole class and all the achievements we have made throughout our time at Rosary. I was especially honored to receive the St.Timothy Catholic leadership award and to share this honor with my best friend.”

Our seniors are certainly impressive! Notably, water polo player Emma Aljurdi and soccer team captain Addie Hansen won senior athlete of the year. Even more rare, Lupita Angel ‘26 got a special pink cord for having perfect attendance for four years straight!
Our 2026 Valedictorian, Valerie Palomino ‘26, and Salutatorian, Michaela Watson ‘26, got special shoutouts too. Alayna shared, “I was so excited and surprised with all the awards I received. It was surreal to be named Valedictorian, and I am especially excited about the medal. It was a great end to my senior year!” I’m sure she’ll put together a fantastic speech for our graduation.
Congratulations to all of our seniors who won awards! Graduation is less than a week away; let’s keep up the good work.
