On Wednesday, April 15, the campaign speeches for next year’s ASB Executive Officers were held. In the Karcher Center, the freshmen, sophomore and junior classes gathered to hear the speeches from those running. Exceptional speeches were given from each position: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Before the voting begins for this year’s election, let’s hear from a few girls running and why they think they are best for the position.
Jamie Miyashiro ’27 shared why she wants to become Executive Secretary and the impact she can have on the school: “I want to be Executive Secretary because of my love for Rosary Academy. This school has given me so many opportunities to meet new people, grow as a student, and learn more about myself and my faith. I want to provide the same welcoming and warm environment for all students. I want them to be heard, and I want their ideas to be expressed freely so I can communicate them to the rest of my executive cabinet, the faculty, and the staff at Rosary. The student body at Rosary Academy has great advice and thoughts on how to better our school, and they deserve to become a reality.”
Next, we have the position of Executive Treasurer. Ava Lopez ’27 is running for this position and revealed why she wants it, “I am running for Executive Treasurer and am hoping to win because I want to support the student body in every way I can. I also want to bring my energy to create an exciting Red & Gold from White Team.” Also running for Treasurer is Pheobe Zang ’27. Good luck to both of these Royals.

Running for Executive President, junior Terry Chung, is excited for this possibility and shared, “I’m committed to strengthening Rosary’s sisterhood and assisting everyone to create meaningful and lasting memories during their high school journey, just as I have. Having experienced this close-knit family atmosphere at Rosary for three years, I wanted to give back by promoting positive changes and making Rosary even more welcoming.”
Also running for executive president is Chloe Ryan ’26. She shared why and how she can make a difference, “I hope to get it because I love being a leader and helping others out, and I want to make sure that Rosary is a place all the students love.”
Junior Peyton Saunooke is running for Executive Vice President and is a great candidate for this position. All of these Royals love the Rosary community and want to share that love with others.
All of these students sound like great candidates and will definitely make a difference in our school community. Hopefully, this helped narrow down who you are going to vote for. With whoever wins this election, we know our executive office will be in good hands.
