Happy spring, Royals!
Fresh off of spring break, many Royals are still easing back into school. Prom is just around the corner, AP exams are approaching and the end of the year is near. With so much coming up in our schedule, spring break was a great chance to rest before we finish out the year. Whether you were able to catch up on sleep, hang out with friends or travel somewhere fun, spring break was a great time to recharge. Let’s see what kept the Royals busy this break!
While a group of students embarked on the school Greece trip, some other Royals were also able to have some international adventures. Melina Gonzalez ‘26 took a trip to Belize in Central America. She shared, “I went to Belize. It was very nice and the weather was great too. The island was definitely my favorite, and I got to tan.” Sounds like she had some great times exploring new countries.
Students enjoyed break from so many places with friends and family. Emma Muse ‘26 shared about her break, “I had such a good break! I went to Palm Springs with my friends, which was so much fun. Then it was my birthday, and I went to San Diego with some more friends. Then went to the beach and worked.” Wow, that sounds like a busy spring break!
Not all Royals had the chance to travel, but they still kept busy. Those in Trinitas had to stay here and held rehearsals several days during break. Isabella Dedes ‘26 shared her experience, “I had rehearsal for seven hours a day the whole week, and it was a lot of work but also fun.” Another student, Danalynn Lam ‘27 stayed local, but shared, “I was able to study and prepare for the ACT.” Even though they stayed local, it still sounds like they made the most of their time off from school.

Some of our Royals even had some surprising celebrity encounters on their trips! Bella Vallejo ‘26 was one lucky Royal: “I went to Florida, and at my hotel, Gronk was across from me at the lazy river for the whole day, it was really cool!” Wow, a trip to the beach and a celebrity sighting, how fun!
I was also lucky enough to see a celebrity during spring break. On my trip to New York, I ran into Marcello Hernandez from SNL.
All of these adventures sound like so much fun and a great chance to spend more time with friends before the year is over. With the little time we have left, make sure to enjoy all of the end of the year activities. Hopefully, you were able to do something fun and rest during spring break, and if not, summer is almost here!
