Rosary and Servite’s track teams have been on fire lately. If you have any working Wi-Fi connection in your home or follow any of the Rosary/Servite socials, it’s very likely you saw the history Rosary made this past weekend on April 11th.
At the Arcadia Invitational, a prestigious meet that hosted schools from across the nation, Rosary’s 4×100 relay set a state record with a time of 44.23, the second-fastest time in high school history and the fastest time so far this season.
This dream team is made up of Senior Justine Wilson, Junior Pfeiffer Lee, and Sophomores Travia Flourey and Maliyah Collins.
Justine talked about how she felt following her races and gave input on the meet: “It was genuinely the best meet of my life. I was so happy to win with my team. I feel that it brought us even closer to one another. I am so proud of how we all performed.” To say this relay deserved this is an understatement; they truly have worked so hard!

Fellow classmate Natalia Mares ’26 commented on how she felt hearing about her Rosary sisters’ performance, “It was crazy to hear about, we are all so proud of them.”
Track and field thrower Ava Graham ’26 had similar thoughts to Natalia, “It was great to hear about how they performed this past weekend. It’s exciting for everyone; we are all so proud.”
Along with the 4×100 relay’s amazing performance, long jumper Senior Jada Faison also set a school record and OC county record. Congrats, Jada!
Yet again, the Royals delivered an amazing performance in track and field. We can’t wait to see what comes next from these girls. Royals will be racing this upcoming Saturday at Mount Sac so be sure to come out and support!
