One of Rosary’s most beloved seniors, Bella Vallejo, brings her energetic personality and funny remarks to every room she’s in. What many Royals may not know, though, is that she lives a double life as a world-famous DJ!
Bella’s infamous nickname is “djbellev.” Why, you may ask? Well, that’s what I’m here to uncover.
First, let’s learn a little about the woman, the myth, the legend. Djbellev is involved in “Ambassadors, NHS, CSF, varsity flag football and was just a Red & Gold Dance Captain.” Belle shares how her involvement matters to her: “These are all so important to me because I love this school so much and being able to do so many things makes me feel important.”

While off campus, Belle is just as busy with “dance and my friends; I also love going to the beach and going to CorePower, and I love trying new cafes and restaurants.” In fact, Belle has been doing competitive dance for six years!
Okay, now let’s get to the real mystery: who is djbellev? Belle starts by telling me that the nickname “came from my Roblox username when I made it in fifth grade; I am not sure where DJ came from.” While Belle’s DJ career is not quite at its height, she’s definitely on the rise, she says, “I did DJ my friend’s party on a MacBook, so I guess you can call me a professional – call me for any future parties.”
As far as her taste goes, it’s impeccable. Belle shares, “My favorite song to remix is ‘Saving Up My Dolla.’ My favorite songs of all time are ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and ‘You Should Probably Leave’ by Chris Stapleton.” When asked what her go-to hype song is, Belle responded: “I hype up the crowd with ‘I Love It’ by Charli XCX — everyone goes crazy, it’s what the fans like to see.” Her ideal venue is “an Alix Earl party or a Joe Burrow Super Bowl win party.” Wow, that’s definitely highbrow.

I also asked djbellev what her go-to post-performance snack is: “Go Greek – chocolate and raspberry swirl; Go Greek is my absolute favorite. After a good performance, I also love an In-N-Out burger.” That sounds delicious, Belle!

If you’re as big of a fan as we are at the Royal Reporter, you’re probably wondering: can I get some authentic djbellev merch? The short answer is yes. Belle explained, “I actually have merch. For my sweet sixteen, my friends surprised me with a dance and shirts with a baby picture of me, and on the back, it says ‘djbellev4 life’ — dm me to get one.”
Rosary is definitely grateful to have djbellev grace our halls. I’ll end this article with her signature sign-off: “YOLO!”
