Here at Rosary, retreats are a normal occurrence, with each class having an annual retreat, along with other special retreats such as Kairos for seniors. Knowing that the retreats are a major part of what makes Rosary so special, it is not surprising that Rosary hosts two women’s retreats per year. These retreats are great opportunities for the women of the Rosary community to reflect on their faith, their experiences and their relationship with God and with one another.
This past fall, Rosary hosted their women’s retreat, “Hanging Onto Hope”, which featured a special breakfast and lunch, activities, and three wonderful talks given by Jaclyn Guerrero, Ms. Marquez and Lisa Ramirez. Rosary’s spring women’s retreat is coming up in April, and it will provide a special day for mothers, daughters and other Rosary community members to connect with and find hope in each other and their faith.

Rosary’s 2026 spring women’s retreat is called “Little Pieces of Light.” This retreat will inspire women to ponder how God has let His light into their lives, and how they can incorporate God’s grace and light into their everyday lives. The retreat will take place on Saturday, Apr. 18, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and it will be held in Rosary’s Karcher Center. The cost of the retreat is $85.00 per person, and it covers retreat supplies as well as a continental breakfast and lunch. Those who are interested should register as soon as possible, as the registration deadline of March 18 is quickly approaching. All women are invited to and are welcome at this unique and special retreat.
Attendees of the women’s retreat will learn a lot about how to cooperate with God’s grace and how His light affects our lives. Mrs. Kearns ‘78 shared how the retreat is a wonderful chance for mothers and daughters to bond and to learn how to share their light with the world: “The Women’s Retreat is a great opportunity for our mothers and daughters to spend a day together to reflect on the power of the Resurrection and how our ‘light must shine’ for others to see.” Mrs. Kearns said, “We are called to be the ‘light of the world’ and we hope to inspire our moms and daughters to spread their light with each other, their families, their community and the world!” Molly Hasset ’27 is looking forward to attending the retreat with her mom this spring: “For this upcoming women’s retreat, I am looking forward to spending the day with my mom and growing closer to God together. I am especially excited for the craft and seeing all the fun decorations.” On the benefits of the retreat, Molly shared, “These retreats are always great ways of bringing women together and helping them grow closer to God. They highlight women’s specific struggles and help us to grow stronger in faith together. I am very excited for this theme, ‘Little Pieces of Light,’ because it will focus on seeing the good in the bad times.” If you are interested in attending the retreat, register using this link: Women’s Retreat Spring 2026
Attendees simply need to bring an open mind, a willingness to participate and a deep desire to let in God’s “little pieces of light.”
