We’re officially two weeks away from Red & Gold performance weekend, which means everything Red & Gold is in full swing. With first rehearsals happening this weekend, many Royals are excited and busy prepping for the show. Another school-wide tradition that helps stir excitement for the show is the Red & Gold potluck. It will take place next Tuesday, March 3.
One thing about Rosary is that potlucks are quite popular, and this is another opportunity to share that. If you have not had a potluck this year, don’t worry, because this will definitely be the most important of them all. The potluck will be split between each team, so it will be a split lunch schedule. While one team is having its potluck, the other will be in Reconciliation. If you’re wondering who will bring what food or how much you should bring, White Team has already split categories to make it easier.

To see what food you have been assigned, check your inbox for an email from Christina Vaughan ‘26. Since everyone will be participating in the potluck, there will be enough food as long as each person brings what is asked.
For the main courses, any girls on dance and drill will bring an entree that has at least 20 items. This could be a pizza, a tray of Chick-fil-A nuggets, sandwiches and more. All salads and sides will be covered by anyone participating in choral, script and props. Red Producer, Parker Yee ‘26, says, “The potluck is such a fun event for the whole team to bond and celebrate the progress they have made for the show!” This is such a highlight of the Red & Gold season, so don’t forget to participate!
As this Red & Gold season begins to wind down and inch closer to performance weekend, make sure to enjoy all of these moments. This potluck is always filled with lots of food and creates great memories for all students. Gold Producer, Michaela Watson ‘26, says, “Make sure to check all your Remind messages and emails; I know Parker and I have been sending lots. There will be many hungry Royals to feed, so don’t forget!” As Michaela said, if you haven’t already, start brainstorming and talking to your friends about what you will be bringing next Tuesday!
