Red & Gold is officially off to a great start! Dance and drills are learning choreography, drama is learning their lines, and props are being built and painted. The Rosary building is filled with Red & Gold posters, created by captains who started during Winter break. If you haven’t been on campus since Red & Gold kickoff, here is a rundown of how Rosary looks.
Rosary is decked out with everything Red & Gold, with posters on the outside of campus and the bathrooms with streamers, props, and thousands of sticky notes. Red has a flag of red producers, Parker Yee ’26 and Molly Burke ’27, faces, and gold has a long gold rug with gold everything and everywhere. Gold’s pub theme is “Vogue/Magazine,” and Red’s pub theme is “Under the Sea.”
Gold’s head pub captain Anayra Reynoso ’26 shares her favorite moments during this Red & Gold season: “We started making gold posters back in December. I love our pub theme idea, and every poster turned out so well. During flex, I love walking around Rosary, retaping posters and watching Red & Gold come to life. I am so proud of all the pub captains this year because I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make Rosary look the way it looks now.” While students are walking to class, they are constantly looking at the posters and loving the creativity. But the students who walk past the posters every day and admire them don’t know who the artist is.
