The second semester has officially begun, and it’s time for another club rush at Rosary Academy. On January 22, Rosary will be hosting another club rush in the Karcher Center during lunch. Countless students work on the best application to explain their club idea. Once the club is approved, students work on creating a poster and preparing for club rush.
On club rush day, the Karcher Center is filled with tables displaying beautiful posters that persuade students to join the club. After signing up for a club, students are often gifted a sweet treat such as brownies, cookies, candy or even breakfast burritos. This is a perfect opportunity for students to get more involved, learn about ways to contribute to society and discover a new hobby they never realized they would enjoy.

Clubs at Rosary Academy range from the French club to “The Eras Club”. Each student gets a chance to find clubs they would be interested in. Many students expressed what they love about club rush. Alexis Perez ’27, the president of “Charms For Change,” expresses, “I am so excited for club rush and cannot wait for new members to join our cause. This is one of my favorite times of the year, and I love meeting other girls who are not in my class.” Kaitlin Lawrence ’28, the secretary of the club, said, “I love club rush and I love seeing all the other clubs all around me in the Karcher Center.”
We are so excited for students to showcase the clubs they have been working on. Come down to the Karcher Center on Thursday at lunch to sign up and get involved at this school even more!
