On Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Rosary hosted its annual Women in Sports and Pathways Night. This open house serves to highlight all of Rosary’s sports and Pathways.
In the Karcher Center, Rosary’s Athletic Department hosted tables for our 17 sports teams. All the tables had information about their program, and coaches attended to answer questions and talk to prospective athletes.

In addition, senior track and field star Justine Wilson gave a speech about her experience as a student athlete and all the support the coaching staff has given her through her time on the track team. Director of Athletics, Mr. Tice, also gave a powerful speech about the importance of women’s sports and Rosary’s unique all-female athlete environment. On the importance of Women in Sports Night, he commented, “It’s a great opportunity for prospective families to speak directly with each sport’s coaches and players.”
On the other side of campus, in the Assembly Hall, tables displayed our seven Academic Pathways. Department Chairs and students in each Pathway answered questions and discussed with prospective families. Pathways member Parker Yee ‘26 shared about her experience in the Leadership Pathway.

Assistant Principal of Academics, Mrs. Hunt, shared a little bit about what incoming freshmen should know about the Academic Pathways: “Rosary’s Pathways give incoming students a meaningful way to explore their interests while discovering new possibilities. By engaging in specialized classes and outside field experiences, our students can dive deeper into potential careers, build confidence in their strengths and find direction for their future. It’s an empowering way for young women to begin shaping the path that inspires them most.”
Overall, the night was a success! Prospective students should join us for Preview Day on Dec. 3.
