Rosary’s 23rd annual Red Wine & Gold will kick off the start of the second semester, but watch out for the donation drive happening next week! This fundraiser is held every year to support need-based tuition assistance for current Royals, featuring live and silent auctions during the event. It will take place on Saturday, January 17, in the Karcher Center.
Right now, they are looking for donations of fine wine, champagne, vacation homes, airline miles, gift certificates for shopping, dining, spa services and more items can be found on their Amazon wishlist. Donations can be dropped off all of next week to the front office.
This event is a great way to support students and enjoy a fun night. The Royal Review says, “This is a taste-of event featuring some of the West Coast’s best wines, local craft beers, and restaurants.” This fundraiser also always offers many items during the auctions to look forward to, last year there were even a couple dogs! A few of the sponsors the Royal Review mentions will be included in the event are “Blue Farm, Thatcher Vineyards, Vivier Wines, Twisted Vine, with more to come!”

Molly Burke ‘27 says, “Red Wine & Gold is an awesome opportunity to continue supporting Royals throughout the school year.”
If you cannot attend the event but still want to donate, the donation drive is being held next week from Nov. 10- Nov. 14. To donate, the Royal Review says “A minimum donation of $50 and a completed donation agreement form are required for your daughter to qualify for a free pizza and pizookie lunch from BJ’s with spirit dress on Thursday, December 4.” This is a great way to participate in the event if your parents can not make it to the event.
Whether you are volunteering at the event or donating during the drive, your support is appreciated! We hope to see you at the event.
