The early application date for most colleges, Nov. 1, has gone by, which has many of Rosary’s seniors rejoicing. While some seniors still have a long list of applications, a good portion of them are completely done or almost there; therefore, many Royals have some extra time that would otherwise be occupied by revising essays, writing extracurricular lists, inputting transcripts, or worrying about their application deadlines. So, what are our seniors doing with all this extra time?
Addi Guitierrez ‘26 climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro; maybe that’s why she wasn’t at school on Monday.

Sami DiCrisi ‘26 wrote a one-woman play entitled “Royal,” which is a piece of interpretive theatre and has no words.
Emma Muse ‘26 rebuilt Noah’s ark.
Sophie Figueroa ‘26 mastered teleportation, so she doesn’t have to drive an hour to school tomorrow.

Harper Clark ‘26 watched every single “Frankenstein” movie ever made for research for her article.
Ava Gomez ‘26 became a world-renowned underwater basket weaver.
Aurora Ortuno ‘26 built a scale model of Rosary out of pipe cleaners.
Maddie Lambros ‘26 collaborated with Benson Boone on a new smooth jazz album.
Bella Ramirez ‘26 met the Pope.

Bella Vallejo ‘26 went to the Vikings game and met her future husband, JJ McCarthy, and then made her debut on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Addie Felix ‘26 committed to Hogwarts University for D1 Quidditch.
Addi Sciarra ‘26 discovered a new species of fish.
Mikayla Hayward ‘26 renovated the tunnels underneath Rosary and made a seniors-only lounge.

Anayra Reynoso ‘26 watched every single episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Seniors Alayna Votino, Valerie Palomino, and Natalia Stuart went to the World Series and used their mad softball skills to help the Dodgers secure their World Series win.
Senior Hannah Kelly added, “I broke a world record by sleeping for twelve days straight.”
Gigi Simmons ‘26, on the other hand, has done something a little more productive with her free time: “I learned how to make a perfect pumpkin chai at home!” I think I’ll be stopping by, Gigi.

In all seriousness, we are so proud of our seniors for surviving college app season. While they may not be going to Vikings games or underwater basket weaving, our seniors are still working hard to finish out the semester strong. And to all of our senior sisters who are still finishing up the rest of their apps, we wish you the best of luck!
