The annual Father-Daughter Dance is approaching. It’s time to get in your best attire and put your dancing shoes on because this is going to be a night filled with fun and memories. This Saturday, on Nov. 8, at the JW Marriott, Rosary Academy is hosting its Father-Daughter Dance, “Disco Divas & Dads.” See below for the details on how the night will go, so you don’t miss anything.
The Father-Daughter Dance schedule:
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Pictures. They will be taken by a professional photographer.
6:00 p.m.: Doors open. It’s time to bond with your dads and friends.
6:30 p.m.: Dinner. Enjoy a three-course meal!
7:30-10:30 p.m.: Dance. Savor every moment dancing with your dads and enjoy the music.
The famous Father-Daughter Dance competition will be happening. Each grade gets a chance to dance with their fathers to win the class competition. Everyone can participate, and it is so worth it. Sophia Fletchall ’26 loves the Father-Daughter Dance and is excited to attend one more with her dad: “The Father-Daughter Dance is so special to me. This will be my fourth Father-Daughter Dance, and I can’t believe this is my last one. This time with my dad is something I enjoy.” Reminder, if you are a senior, you have the opportunity to bring your sister. Make sure to put on your comfy tennis shoes and stay hydrated, so you can dance the night away.
It’s very exciting for the freshmen and transfers to discover what this night is all about. Ayiah Soufi ’26, is a transfer this year and can’t wait to see what the Father-Daughter Dance is all about: “I’m super excited for the Father-Daughter Dance! This is my first Rosary Father-Daughter Dance. My dad and I are super happy because when I was in kindergarten, I attended a Father-Daughter Dance, so this will bring back so many happy memories.” This will be an opportunity for many to enjoy.
The most important reminder is to take thousands of photos and to acknowledge this time with your family and friends. Cherish every moment, Royals! Don’t hold back and leave everything out on that dance floor.
