On Monday, April 14, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Rosary and Servite are hosting a case studies night for juniors in the Servite theater. A case study night is when counselors go over college essays to review what admissions officers are looking for in college applications. The event will also give families an opportunity to assess the applications themselves. Students can register using this link.
According to Counseling Assistant Mrs. Moore, the Case Studies Night is a “wonderful opportunity to get a sneak peek into the college admissions world and gain valuable insights as students prepare for their own college admissions process.” The mock admissions are geared toward Common App schools, so students looking to apply out of state or to private schools should use this as an opportunity to get an upper hand in highly competitive applications.

In addition to the case studies, there will be a mini college fair for students to explore. College Counselor Mrs. Lee stated, “The case studies night is a great opportunity for students to get acquainted with admissions officers from different schools. Students get to look at fake profiles from students and pretend to be an admissions officer assessing their application. It provides a unique opportunity for students to see what colleges are looking for in an applicant.”
The Mock Admissions Case Studies Night is a great opportunity for juniors to get a new perspective on college admissions, connect with admissions officers and explore colleges. Don’t forget to register soon!
