Happy 2025, Royals, and welcome back to campus. Before we left for winter break, many of us made a Christmas wish list and hoped to see several gifts under the tree on Christmas morning. This year I got really lucky and received many special presents, but I must say my favorite gift was the Kodak Pixpro FZ55 I received from my dad. It was special receiving this camera because I love taking pictures! Since I loved all the gifts I received on Christmas morning, and my guilty pleasure was watching Christmas hauls on TikTok, I took it upon myself to ask my fellow Royals what their favorite gifts were. A lot of popular items on Christmas lists this season were definitely in the tech category. For example, senior Chelsea Beltran shared, “My favorite gift I received was the Beats Solo 4 I got from my mom.” Similarly, Bella Luciano ‘26, stated, “My favorite gift I received was a Macbook since I like having options of where I can do my work!”
Daleah Cardenas ‘25 said her favorite gift was the clothes she received from several of her family members and, along with apparel, senior Bella Contreras said her favorite gift was the Birkenstocks and Adidas Gazelles she received; Sabrina Martin ‘25 said her favorite gift was the Tasman UGG slippers she received, and senior Alyssa Mccreary said her favorite gift was an Alo set.
Ava Barretto ’25, shared, “My favorite gift was definitely a 20-pound weighted blanket. I had been wanting one for a while, so finally receiving it was exciting, and it is so comfortable.” A popular gift among my classmates was hair products. Erin Searle ‘25 mentioned that her favorite gift was the Dyson Airwrap she received, and similarly, freshman Ally Luciano expressed that her favorite gift was the Dyson Hair Dryer. Lastly, Senior Sammy Oskorus shared, “My favorite gift I received was a T3 curling iron!”
