Rosary Academy will be hosting the Athletic Open House on Monday, Feb. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Karcher Center to introduce prospective families to Rosary sports.

The Athletic Open House allows incoming students to meet with coaches and Rosary athletes to get a feel for the athletics on campus.

Mr.Tice, Athletic Director and Softball Head Coach, provided insight on what students can expect. He shared, “Prospective students will be able to get a taco dinner – which is most important – but also talk to coaches and players from every sport. Coach Yoon and I will be speaking, along with Nicole Rodriguez ‘20, who is a basketball player at LMU.”

He continued, “This is one of the few events where you can meet the coaches, but here you’ll also be able to talk about summer programs: either summer training for new students or youth camps for future students.” The Athletic Open House allows families to see the type of support and opportunities Rosary offers for its athletes.

Junior Athena Mandi, a Rosary tennis player, attended the Athletic Open House as an incoming freshman. She mentioned, “I was able to learn more about the sports I was interested in, and it has benefited me in shaping my high school experience. A prospective family will be able to envision themselves as a Royal Family. Not only does it give information about sports, but it also introduces the welcoming environment Rosary has.”

In order to attend, families must register to reserve a spot. Registration can be found at the following link: https://www.rosaryacademy.org/admissions/class-of-2026/athletic-open-house
