Last Thursday, Servite football started off the new season with a big win. The fighting Friars beat Bakersfield High School by ten points with a final score of 17-7.

Servite’s Associate Athletic Director Joel Hartmann stated, “I am feeling positive about how things are right now. I expect them to improve every week, and I know they will because the coaching staff is fantastic. Overall, football takes a team effort and I am excited to see what the team can do. We will be the most prepared team every week.”

Chad Beauchamp ‘21: “I really think we are going to have a great season this year. We just all together need to get closer as a team.”

Everyone is very excited for this season and looking forward to many more wins. Servite football has been working hard to bring their best game every Friday, and Servite fans are looking forward to seeing more from them.
