Last Thursday, Servite football started off the new season with a big win. The fighting Friars beat Bakersfield High School by ten points with a final score of 17-7.

Servite’s Associate Athletic Director Joel Hartmann stated, “I am feeling positive about how things are right now. I expect them to improve every week, and I know they will because the coaching staff is fantastic. Overall, football takes a team effort and I am excited to see what the team can do. We will be the most prepared team every week.”
