Hey, Royals! Our favorite time of the year is here: the Father Daughter Dance is this Sunday, Nov. 5.
For those who don’t know what the Father Daughter Dance is, it is a fun-filled night where dads and their daughters eat dinner and then dance the night away. The night also includes a dance-off competition for Royals and their dads to compete against other dad and daughter pairs.
Then, as the competition goes on, the judges tap girls on the shoulder to continue to the final round. Then, the winner gets picked based on the crowd’s applause and excitement for each pair.
Senior Lily Curtis and her father won the junior dance-off last year. She said, “I had so much fun at this dance last year; it is by far my favorite dance of the school year. Being the winner was definitely a core memory I will never forget. I plan on stepping it up this year, so my dad and I can hopefully win the dance competition again this year!”
Paloma Borsari ‘24 shares, “I can’t wait for the Father Daughter dance this year. I hope my dad and I win this year. We have been practicing our dance moves and can’t wait to bring it on the dance floor!”
Father-Daughter is definitely a night Royals don’t want to miss. Make sure you have your tickets ready for Sunday and don’t forget to pick up your table assignments from room 8!
