The Pink Journey Club is one of the most popular clubs here at Rosary and works to spread Breast Cancer Awareness. This club is very impactful, especially during October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They spread their message in many ways, and one way is by selling Pink Journey bows. The club sells these bows to raise money for the Pink Journey Foundation, which goes towards supporting early detection and awareness of breast cancer. The support these students offer is very important for this foundation and will continue for the duration of the Rosary legacy.
Hailey Huerta ’28 serves an important leadership role in the club. She shared the significance of all the fundraisers they throw: “The Pink Journey Club works to support the Pink Journey Foundation through fun and meaningful fundraisers like our annual Pink Out Day, the upcoming Pancake Breakfast with Servite’s Grub for Good club and selling our signature Pink Journey bows. All the money we raise goes directly to the foundation, which helps bring mobile mammogram trucks to women in underprivileged areas. We also spread awareness about the importance of early detection and remind everyone that breast cancer can affect anyone—even girls our age.” The dedication and support of this club are truly inspiring.

The many Royals who are a part of this club all say how much they love the fundraisers. The participants in these fundraisers love raising money and having fun for a good cause. Sophomore Alexis Sypinero shared her favorite part about being a part of the Pink Journey Club: “The Pink Journey Club is an amazing way to spread Breast Cancer Awareness. My favorite thing we do is our annual pink out day, which is a fun way to raise money and wear pink with my friends!” Everyone loves pink, so why not wear it to support women and raise money?
The Pink Journey Club is a great way for Royals to get involved in the community. The many fundraisers they throw show their dedication to supporting Breast Cancer Awareness. Make sure to take part and give your support to the women who have breast cancer and help with the early detection of it. Don’t forget to stop by Room 8 to buy a bow for $5 and participate in the upcoming pancake breakfast!
