Last Saturday, Oct. 11, Royals and Friars spent their Saturday night dancing the night away in their best attire at Homecoming. Spending hours with friends and taking countless photos, Rosary and Servite students created extraordinary memories. The Homecoming 2025 theme was “A Night At The Seven Kingdoms,” which fit so well with the Homecoming Court.
Homecoming weekend started Friday evening at the Servite football game against JSerra. During halftime, the Homecoming Court walked out of the field, and the Homecoming King, Travis Fox ’26, and Homecoming Queen, Kate Duarte ’26, were crowned as royalty. Servite Senior, Travis Fox, shared his experience as being crowned Homecoming King and what he enjoyed throughout the dance, “Homecoming was such an awesome experience. I met so many new people, and everyone’s energy made it even more special. My favorite parts were definitely the music, the DJ was great this year, along with the rally games. HOCO was such a memorable experience.” Congratulations to everybody who was on the court.

Preparing for the night, some Royals’ schedule consisted of hair, nails, and tanning appointments. While the Servite boys got ready in 20 minutes, I wish it were that easy. Students found pleasing photo spots to take Instagram-worthy photos, grabbed a bite to eat and drove to the dance full of excitement. Starting at 7 p.m., the Servite parking lot was filled with cars, limos and party buses. Hundreds of students walked out excited to dance, eat popcorn and ride the swings.
Alexa Pineda ’27 shares her insight on the homecoming weekend, “Homecoming weekend was so much fun! Starting at the homecoming game, I loved cheering with all my friends on the sideline. I loved getting ready for Homecoming, taking cute photos, and dancing with all my friends. I waited in line for the swings and enjoyed the ride very much.” Many will agree that they had a lot of excitement that night.

Emily Diep ’26 advises the students who will be attending next year’s Homecoming, “Enjoy every minute of it. The past four Homecomings I experienced were some of my favorite memories, which I will cherish as the years go by. Take as many photos as possible to capture the moment and dance to every song on the dance floor.”
Homecoming, “A Night At The Seven Kingdoms,” was a success! Thank you to all the people who put their time and effort into this beautiful night. It was a night to remember.
