The Trinitas Arts Conservatory holds a special place in the hearts of Servite and Rosary students, parents and alumni. Trinitas is a theater program shared between Servite, Rosary and junior high students. Every year, the students perform incredible shows, easily entertaining anyone who comes to watch. They perform a play during the fall and a musical during the spring in the Servite theater. This year, they will be showing “Our Town” and “Mary Poppins.”
Trinitas member and Rosary sophomore Apia Sims has been taking part in Trinitas for around a year and has loved her experiences so far. She shares, “My favorite thing about Trinitas is not only performing, but the friendships that I’ve made during the time I’ve spent there.” The theater program is a tight knit community indeed! She loves spending time with her theater friends in and out of rehearsals.

She also explains that her favorite show so far has been “Elf: The Musical.” Apia got the opportunity to be a featured dancer in “Elf: The Musical,” thus sharpening her dancing skills. Apia says that during her time in Trinitas she hopes to “become a better actress, singer and dancer.” Trinitas has many resources to help her achieve all those goals. One great resource is a Trinitas Conservatory class. There are many classes for both on and off-stage roles.
Some things she looks forward to later this year are performing in the musical “Mary Poppins” during the spring and getting to spend some extra time with her friends. She shares that her dream play to preform would be “Little Women,” and her dream musical would be “Hamilton” (of course)! Along with that, Apia shares, “I would love to play Angelica Schuyler because I love the independence and strength of her character, and her songs are amazing.” Apia would make a great Angelica because of her confidence and dancing skills!
Apia is great example of a hardworking Trinitas student. She easily dominates the stage with her fire dancing skills and funny personality. Look out for her in the “Mary Poppins” musical this spring! And don’t forget to support the Trinitas program by attending “Our Town” this fall.
