Club Rush 2025 was a success! This past Thursday, Royals showcased new and returning clubs in the Karcher Center. Club officers lined up with their decorated poster boards during lunch and presented their clubs to their peers. Some clubs offered treats to give out featuring pizza, cookies and baked goods!
As students entered, they set out to explore each club and sign up for the one that interested them the most. Each club has a different goal and mission, whether it’s volunteer service, a special interest or other creative ideas. Anyone can find a club that suits their interests. Throughout the year, Royals will attend club meetings during the semester to carry out their club’s mission and goals.

One new club this year that is sure to be loved by many royals is, “Royal Revolutionaries.” One of the club’s founders Diana Penaloza ’26 shares, “I am co-president along with Maddie Nero ’26, and we are super excited to start out the Hamilton club! We plan on watching parts of the show, playing games like finish the lyrics and Hamilton bingo, and having fun while also learning about our history.” This club is a great example of how creative Royals can be and create different communities on campus!
A popular club returning this year is “RAD Club.” Many Rosary students participate in R.A.D. (rising above disabilities) Camp during the summer, and can continue that mission during the school year. Co-President Brigid LeVecke ’26 says, “Our club is about rising above disabilities and giving people the chance to shine no matter who you are.” RAD. is a great club to join during the year to support their mission and later be a part of their camp!

The “Catholic Relief Services Club” is another new club this year, started by Bella Ramirez ’26 and Melina Gonzalez ’26. Melina was able to share more information about her new club. Melina says, “I am the co-president of the Catholic Relief Services club. Our main goals are to educate people about the increasing global issue of poverty, advocate for the poor and marginalized and participate in service activities to work toward the common good. I am so excited to have guest speakers, service activities, and take over the CRS rice bowls.” This club is a great way to be more involved and support those in need.
Taryn Litfin ’28 and Victoria Gonzalez ’28 also had the chance to tell us more about their club, the “Royal Paws Pantry.” Victoria says, “We do school-wide donations, and we donate food to dog shelters”. This is a great way to support animals in need! Taryn adds, “We also make baskets for homeless dogs filled with blankets and food.” This club is a great way to support dogs in need and help the community.
I was also able to participate in club rush this year with my club, “Women in Business.” It was a lot of fun to talk to people about my club and meet new members. I love that club rush allows me the opportunity to meet students from every grade level and introduce them to my club.
Club rush is always sure to be a hit event that gets Royals excited for the year. It offers Royals the opportunity to find new passions and more community around them. While signing up for clubs, many students also get sweet treats as a bonus. If you missed Club Rush, don’t worry, because another will be held next semester, so if you want to start your own club or join a new one, there is still a chance to do so. Have fun with your clubs this year, and be sure to take advantage of all of the service opportunities, bake sales and more!
