Coachella tickets are coming out TODAY, and if you’re anything like me, that means you’ve been excited to see who would make the headlines for months now– and are elated by one particular headliner.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Coachella is a music festival held every year in Indio, CA. The festival features all ranges of artists: upcoming and well-known musicians, bands, as well as visual artists.
On this year’s list of artists, one name in particular stood out to me and many other Royal Beliebers— Justin Bieber.

I am a die-hard Justin fan. As the youngest of four siblings, two being teenage girls, I personally grew up on One Direction and Justin Bieber. So much so that “Baby,” “Love Me,” “Boyfriend,” and so many more of Bieber’s songs went triple platinum in my household. (And trust me when I say, “Mistletoe” became a Christmas non-negotiable.)
Senior Mia Paquette commented on her sentiments on the announcement: “I literally want to go so bad. The lineup this year is so good, and it would be so fun and nostalgic to see Justin in concert.” Amen to that one, Mia.
Junior Sabrina Fructus shared similar excitement to Mia, saying, “I really hope he plays ‘Baby,’ it’s so upbeat and such a classic, I miss that song (and him) so bad.” He has definitely made some classics over the years.
Justin Bieber hasn’t performed a full concert since before 2022, so seeing his name on the headline had five-year-old me screaming and running to tell my sisters. As someone who’s listened to him since practically birth, I can say I definitely didn’t see this coming, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Other than Bieber, a variety of popular artists also made the Coachella cut, including Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, Addison Rae, PinkPantheress, The Strokes, Laufey, Dijon and so many more!
Fructus further commented on this year’s lineup, saying, “I think this year’s set list is really good; there’s something for everyone. Although I am missing Billie Eilish and Tate McRae.” Maybe next year we’ll see these names in the headline!
Unfortunately for me, I don’t think Coachella will be in my cards for the 2025 run. Since I clearly only like artists who hate performing live (you can read my previous article on Frankchella – The Royal Reporter), I might be waiting a while before I get to see him. Until then, let us know who you’re most excited to see at Coachella!
