Last Saturday, Sept. 13, located at the J.W. Marriott in Anaheim, California, the Royal Gala celebrated sixty years of education, memories, and preparing young women for their futures. Rosary celebrated the alumnae who have successfully helped the community and brought attention to the impact Rosary has made on countless people. The gala was an opportunity for many to reconnect with their high school classmates with a night of dancing and fun.

Some students shared their thoughts on the wonderful Saturday event. Students loved learning about the previous generations’ experience with Rosary. Lexie Curtis ’27 expressed her love for the gala and Rosary: “I loved being able to cover such an important event for Rosary Academy and get to capture some of the amazing moments and people who attended. To think about how much Rosary has impacted people’s lives like my own for the past 60 years was astonishing. And it made me even more glad to be a part of Rosary’s never-ending legacy.” Many Royals will agree that their time at Rosary was filled with some of their best moments.
Reflecting on the night, Elizabeth Braatz ’27 shared, “My experience at the 60th Gala was amazing. I really enjoyed seeing alumnae reconnect with their Rosary sisters. It was a fun night filled with friendship, laughter, and many memories were shared.” It was truly a night many will never forget.
Sisters Madeline Lawrence ’26 and Kaitlin Lawrence ’28 shared their time at the gala and how much fun they had. Madeline reflected, “The gala was a really fun event to help with. It was nice to see everyone supporting our school.” Kaitlin added, “I loved helping at the gala because I got to meet many Royal alumnae and some of the Sisters of St. Joseph. I also loved seeing all the memorabilia from past classes.”

So many wonderful people showed up to support our school last Saturday night. With the help of the alumnae and community, Rosary will continue to provide a strong Catholic education, allowing future Royals to make lasting memories. The more years go by, the more Rosary will just get better and better. After the success of the 60th anniversary gala, we can only imagine the fun times ahead at future Rosary events!
