This week, Royals have been blessed with a three-day weekend. As the teachers suit up for a day of hard work, our Rosary students get to enjoy an extra day of rest and relaxation. From hanging out with friends to getting some sleep and studying, they have their weekends filled with fun activities.
On the weekend, you can usually find Royals at the mall, practice or, in this Royal’s case, at home! Bella Cantos ’26 shares, “I plan to work on college applications, hangout with my friends and get ahead on homework and studying.” She also explained that some of her favorite weekend activities include going to Servite football games with her friends and swimming. It’s a good thing that she has plenty of time to do everything she needs to get done on her long weekend.
On the contrary, another Royal, Maye Zarate ’27, explains her plans for the weekend, “I’m looking forward to spending time with my family, cousins and best friend.” Over the weekend, she likes to spend her time shopping and watching movies with her best friend. It looks like she won’t be home very much these next few days.
Sophomore Alexa Padilla ’28 expresses that she loves to go to the beach. She shares, “I like to go to the beach and eat pizza on the beach.” She also enjoys going to brunch with her family over the weekend. What a nice way to spend quality time with her siblings! The beach and brunch may be just what she needs to unwind after the first five crazy weeks of school. It sounds like a peaceful weekend for Padilla.
Our Rosary sisters are going to be busy these next three days. Hopefully, they are able to make fun memories with friends and study for all their upcoming tests. Enjoy your three-day weekend and make sure to get lots of rest for the next week!
