The Cross-Country Team has been working hard at practice since July, and their schedules are already packed with their upcoming races.
Luna Romero ‘28 shared her favorite things about being on the Cross-Country Team: “I’ve loved my time on cross-country so far. I’ve made amazing relationships and even found some of my best friends. My favorite thing about our team is the way we all encourage and push each other to do our best.” Being in a team sport is a great way to make strong friendships.
Emilia Cantos ’28 also loves her teammates: “So far, cross-country has been super challenging but fun. I’ve had so much fun running with my friends and I am excited to learn other ways to improve.” Make sure to wish our Cross-Country Team good luck this season!
Our Golf Team has also been hard at work perfecting their swings and putts for their upcoming season. The team has already had a few matches and are starting off the season strong.

On her experience with the team for her second year, Sophomore Emma Lugo shared, “I love this season so far, being on varsity is such an amazing opportunity to play with my friends.” What a great way to bond with girls from different grades and work together to achieve their goals.
The Rosary Volleyball Team is also excited to be back in season. So far, they’ve played in a tournament in Hawaii and hosted several preseason matchups. Up against some of the best teams, the girls always give their full effort. Their next game is today, Sept. 4, against St. Joseph in the Karcher Center. Come out to one of their upcoming games to give your support.
The Flag Football Team has also been putting in time at practice and thriving at their recent games.

Kendel Koernor ’28 shared how strong and determined the team is: “Although we have faced fierce competition, we continue to demonstrate hard work during every practice and learning opportunity. In every game, the girls display true passion for the sport with their positive attitude throughout each quarter. As the game itself changes, we always adjust and give our best effort.” Well, the effort is paying off; these girls truly are a strong team.
In all, this fall sports season should be a fun one. Make sure to show your support at our upcoming Fall Sports Rally. Good luck, Royals!
