As the Royals continue into the third week of school, it’s time to reflect on the memorable moments of summer vacation. Many spent their vacation attending summer camps, spending time with friends and traveling to exotic places. Girls continued attending Rosary events such as volunteering for kids’ summer camps and freshmen summer events. Summer is a time to hang out with school friends, but many of these Royals would love to share what they did this summer that people might not know. It’s time to learn what these Royals did these past two and a half months.

First, Vanessa Malagon ’26 shared her fun and exciting experiences this summer: “This summer I toured colleges, joined a local swim team and celebrated my best friend’s birthday.” This summer was perfect for school visits, swimming and celebrations!
Another Rosary student, Sophia Bello ’28, shared a fun vacation she went on this summer: “This summer I went to Palm Springs for my friend’s birthday, and I had so much fun. We stayed at the pool all day and had a bunch of Shirley Temples.”
Melissa Lopez ’28 shared, “I went on a cousins’ trip to Disney World for my first ever visit there. I did 4 days, 4 parks and got to make so many fun memories with my cousins.” That sounds like an amazing trip that includes family time and Disney.

Ruby Leon ’26 explains, “I was able to spend time with my brother all summer and teach him how to swim.”

Senior Anayra Reynoso took the time to explain what she most enjoyed this summer. She said, “This summer I went to the Greek islands! I visited Athens, Santorini, Paros and Mykonos.” Sounds like she had a fun vacation.
Andrea Salazar ’26 shared, “This summer I spent a lot of time with my friends, going to the beach, traveling and sleeping.”
Sounds like these Royals enjoyed their summer vacation. Summer 2025 will be one that will never be forgotten. It was a time for the Royals to grow their relationships with each other and travel around the world. It was fun to learn about everyone’s break from school.
After reminiscing about these past months, the Royals are excited to start the new year. Bringing positive energy to the campus, catching up with friends and making great memories with peers. I’m so thrilled to see what the Royals accomplish this upcoming school year!
