Welcome back, Royals! Students are back on campus, meeting new teachers, finalizing schedules and preparing for the new school year. Royals are excited to be back on campus with friends and back inside the classroom. Now, it is the parents’ turn to attend a night of school and experience Rosary’s classes during Back-to-School Night. Back-to-School Night will be held next Monday, Aug. 25, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Although Back-to-School Night is only for parents, there will be student leaders around to ensure the night is a success. Director of Activities Ms. La Bonte ‘09 says, “ASB will be around campus to help guide parents to classrooms and navigate the campus.” ASB will be dressed in formal uniform and is excited to have a part in hosting the event.
Mrs. Lee, the new Director of Counseling, adds, “It’s a good opportunity for parents to meet teachers and understand the expectations of classes.” Exactly, this night is an excellent opportunity for parents to learn about the classes their students are taking and understand their schedule.

In the short three and a half hours parents are on campus, they will get to know Rosary and the faculty better. They will also attend a parent involvement fair to introduce all of Rosary’s events. This event is a great kick-off to the school year and a way to introduce families to the Rosary community. All students should remind their parents to attend on Monday for a short version of the school day.
