Happy graduation season, seniors! I know many of us are excited to walk on stage and receive our diplomas. But before then, we must keep track of a few important deadlines coming up. Mrs. Huerta ‘94 and other Rosary admin have been working tirelessly to make sure our special day goes as smoothly as possible. So, we must all do our part and make sure we are on top of things.
“Preparing for graduation has been stressful, and communication has been key in staying on top of all senior events,” says Senior Class President Avery Rabago ’25. Let’s go over some upcoming graduation reminders:
First of all, Mrs. Huerta emailed all seniors on Wednesday about graduation tickets. If you have completed all detentions, service hours etc., you are now able to go ahead and pick up your graduation tickets. These will include both the ten given to each graduate and any extra you may have requested. All guests will be required to present a ticket on the day of the ceremony.
Second, our Senior Awards ceremony is Tuesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. Make sure to RSVP if you’re receiving an award and follow the Honors Night Dress Code.

Third, to prepare for our graduation on Friday, May 23, we must attend both graduation practices. These practices will be held on Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21 at 1-3 p.m. in the Karcher Center. But don’t worry seniors, lunch will be provided.
Fourth, don’t forget about our senior lunch hosted by the Dads Club, which will be on Wednesday, May 21 at 11 a.m., right after our class picture.
Fifth, our Baccalaureate Mass is scheduled on Thursday, May 22 at 5 p.m. It will be held outside on the lawn. Arrival time is 4:30 p.m., and senior attendance is mandatory. All immediate family is invited to attend. As for dress code, all seniors will wear their zipped-up gown with no cap and Mass-appropriate shoes.
Finally, please remember that if you would like professional photos of our graduation ceremony, you must turn in the photo order form. This form was emailed to us on April 15 and must be turned in to the activities office by Wednesday, May 21. Also, from May 19-21, there will be drop-off bins for washed uniforms outside of room 8. And lastly, please make sure to donate to our Senior Class Gift! It is a great way to give back and say “thank you” for the Rosary experience.
Even though all of these reminders might be a bit stressful at the moment, let’s all remember what an exciting time this is for us seniors. As we conclude our time here at Rosary, let’s go over what some of our seniors have to say about this important time of our lives:
Sydney Hastert ’25 reminds us all that “even though things are really hectic right now and graduation is coming up quick. Remember to savor every moment because these are the memories we’ll have for a lifetime.” I couldn’t agree more, Sydney.
Bella Contreras ’25 states, “I’m so excited for our class to walk across the stage and celebrate each other all summer at grad parties!” We can’t forget about our special graduation parties. I can’t wait for this summer either.
Last but not least, Kayla Tolentino ’25 shares her perspective on this graduation season: “With only two weeks left, I can’t believe that senior year is almost over! I’m so excited for all of our last events together as a class though, especially Senior Disney Day, our Baccalaureate Mass and graduation.” This year definitely went by fast. I feel like our Senior Sunrise was just yesterday!
Let’s do our best to keep track of all of these events/reminders, seniors, and once again, happy graduation season!
