Rosary Academy’s Softball team is heading into CIF next weekend with the first-place title in the Pacific Coast Conference League. Both JV and varsity have won every game they have played this season and have been doing extremely well this season.
With this big accomplishment of first place and exciting games ahead, Rosary Softball has a lot to celebrate on their Senior Night this coming Tuesday, May 6. These Royals will be playing on the Cal State Fullerton field at 3:30 p.m. where they will be competing against University High School. On this special night, Rosary Academy’s seniors will be playing their last game before heading into CIF.

The whole softball team can agree that they are all thrilled about their upcoming games. Senior Daleah Cardenas is so excited to be able to share this special night with her team as she shared, “I am very excited for these last games with my team but sad at the same time. I am very sad to be leaving all the new friends I have made through this team; it is such a bittersweet moment.” She continued saying, “I am also very hype for CIF and to be competing against great teams.”
Ava Philips ’27 shares a similar feeling with Daleah. She stated, “I am super excited for Senior Night, although I am sad to see our seniors leave after Senior Night and CIF. We are coming off of a great season, so I am confident in my team and myself.”
Come out and support your softball sisters as the seniors play their last game before heading into CIF. This upcoming week is a big one for our Royas, so be sure to keep them in your prayers and wish them good luck!
