With May 1 behind us, seniors should all be committed to colleges. While this year has been filled with lots of laughter and fun, it has also been filled with much change and growth. At the beginning of the year, my fellow writer Isabella Solis ‘25 took it upon herself to ask some of our seniors where they hope to go to college. Since August, a few people have completed their goals while others have had a change of plans.
Isabella Solis: Isabella Solis initially planned to be a Political Science and Journalism major at the University of Oklahoma. While she is attending the University of Oklahoma, her major has slightly changed as she will be studying Political Science and Communications. Boomer Sooner!
Savina Padilla: I, Savina Padilla, had hopes of being a Political Science major at the University of San Diego. However, this all changed when I was offered admission to UC Berkeley. While I am currently undeclared, I hope to pursue a double major in Spanish and Political Science.
Vianna Cabal: Vianna followed through with her original plans and will be attending USD in the fall. However, slightly different from what she had anticipated, she will be majoring in Finance and not Real Estate.

Gabby Lazo: Gabby perfectly guessed it! Having planned for exactly this, she is thrilled to be studying Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona. Go Broncos!
Rebecca Nassar: Rebecca had aspirations to become an English major at UCLA. But as time passes, so does our plans. Thus, Rebecca will be attending UC Berkeley in the fall with me as an English major!
Adreanna Esquivias: At the beginning of the year Adreanna wanted to attend Claremont Mckenna; however, after facing redirection, she will now be attending Chapman University and studying English as she always dreamed of.
Since August, a lot has changed. I could not be prouder of my fellow classmates and cannot wait to see what we all accomplish. Also, seniors, remember to give your emails to Nikki Pontius ([email protected]) so that you can be part of the amazing alumnae network!
