Since winter break ended, many Royals have been counting down the days until spring break. Thus, with spring break being only a couple weeks away, many Royals already have plans for how they’re going to spend their week. To find out what students are going be up to, I asked some Royals what their plans are for spring break:
When I asked Erin Searle ’25, she shared, “I am going to NYC to visit my family and spend time with my sisters for Easter.” It’s always nice to spend time with family after a busy first half of the second semester. New York is also sure to have great weather this time of year, so I’m sure Erin will have lots of fun.
Destiny Perez ’27 also told me, “I’m going to be visiting to a beach in Baja, Mexico.” Sounds like someone’s going to come back to school tan and glowing!
“We’re all going to be renting a beach house in Laguna Beach to hang out with one another,” Vivian Wizikowski ’27, Alexis Perez ’27 and Catalina Ryan ’27 enthusiastically shared. A beach house with a group of your friends sounds like a dream!
Moreover, if your not sure how you’re going to spend your spring break, here are some suggestions:
- Get in that tan before Prom.
- Take advantage of those summer sales to build up that summer wardrobe.
- Try out new recipes with all the new time on your hands.
- Start studying for your upcoming AP exams (but no judgment if you don’t).
- Visit and explore a place you’ve never been to before.

Finally, some seniors will be taking spring break to visit some colleges, whether that be ones they are considering or the school that they’ve already committed to. I myself will be visiting UC Berkeley for Cal Day, which is their admitted students day.
Whatever you do this spring break, I hope you find time to recharge and come back ready to finish the final stretch of the school year. Good luck Royals!
