The Model United Nations club is hosting a conference on Saturday, April 12. At this conference, high school students from California and Arizona will be coming to Rosary to represent specific countries as they discuss and debate current issues.
Club President Tahlia Jain ’26 tells us, “Our topics for this conference include gender-based violence, religious toleration, protecting civilians and journalists in war zones, etc. Two Rosary girls will be leading each topic, and their responsibilities include scoring students on their performance, grading their research papers, and making sure everyone participates and has fun!”
Besides Royal MUN members, a few incoming freshman families will also be there to get a preview of what the MUN Club is all about. This is the first time Rosary has hosted a conference, as our MUN usually attends other schools’, so members are very excited to be hosting.

Sophomore club member Terry Chung gave insight into all the hard work being put into this conference, “The amount of work and effort that MUN put into this conference is unimaginable, specifically, our club president Tahlia! We started prepping last year, I’m glad to see it finally coming together. I’m so proud to be a part of Rosary’s MUN!”
These girls have truly done an outstanding job to put this conference into action. Congrats to MUN girls for all their hard work and dedication!
