This week, Rosary had our last rally of the year. Wednesday was the spring sports rally, featuring the Rosary Lacrosse, Softball, Swim, Track and Field, Triathlon and Beach Volleyball teams. The travel-themed rally was a big hit!
The rally started off with a pack the suitcase game where volunteers from each grade level tried packing a suitcase with as many balloons as they could. The senior class came out with the win for the first game. Demi Totah ’25 shared, “My last rally was the best. The marching game was a blast.” The marching game started out with eight girls in small squares on the ground. Each girl marched in the square, but only one lasted until the end.

The videos featuring all the spring sports were amazing, with some fan favorites being the lacrosse video and the track and field video. ASB Athletic Officer Molly Burke ‘27 shared, “The best part of the rally was getting to watch all the teams’ creative videos. There were some really good ones at this rally.”
After more cheers and videos, there was a relay race where all four classes went head to head. The relay race started with one person throwing a paper airplane across a line in which the next student threw a ball into a bucket. Finally, the race ended with one girl sliding her classmate on a beach towel. In the end, the sophomore class representatives took the win for the race.
Towards the end of the rally, Giselle Gomez ‘26 and Matilda Simmons ‘26 sang an incredible piece from Trinitas’ upcoming musical: Elf. Both their voices together made a beautiful harmony. The play will be at Servite’s theater from April 10 to 12.
At the end of every rally, the famous spirit stick is given to the class with the most spirit at the rally. For the second time this year, the spirit stick was awarded to the sophomore class.

Senior Nisa Avalos shared how much she loved being a part of the rallies this year. She was a spirit officer on ASB and helped pick themes for the rallies. Nisa tells me her favorite part of being a spirit officer: “I would say my favorite part was being able to be as creative as possible and I got to work with some amazing people! I loved being able to create an environment where everyone was entertained and excited to cheer on their classmates on the homecoming court or on the sports teams! My favorite memory would be the winter sports rally this year because the teachers had some really great dance moves.”
This year’s rallies were filled with lots of laughs and cheers. We can’t wait to see what next year’s rallies will bring!
