The Fearless Bungee Barbie
December 2, 2016
Bungee Barbie has been busy this semester in Physics, but she finally had time to sit down with The Royal Reporter to get us caught up.
RR: What was going through your mind as you were plummeting from the top to only within 4 A? cm from the ground?
The thought went through my mind that this jump was one of the most exhilarating moments of my career – and that’s saying a lot, since I’ve walked on the moon!
RR: Were you happy with the fashion forward design prepared for you by JACS Architecture?
As a fashion icon, I always have to look my best. I loved the classic red and black jumpsuit that my designer, Julianne Holmquist, made for me. Even though I was nervous about my jump, it was good to know that I looked fabulous no matter what happened!
RR: If you could redo your jump, what would you change?
I think I would redo my jump with a more comfortable harness. Besides, it wrinkled my fab jumpsuit.
RR: Were you nervous at all?
Oh, a little bit. I admit I closed my eyes when I saw the ground rushing up at me. It was scary when my bungee cord snapped back and I bounced around for a couple seconds. But everything went safely and smoothly, thanks to my wonderful team at JACS Architecture.
RR: How come Ken didn’t join you for the jump? Was he busy that day?
Ken is the best boyfriend a doll could ask for! He knows how much Taffy, my cute pup, enjoys her weekly spa day. Since I was too busy, he took her to the dog salon to get pampered. She’s such a diva!
RR: If you could ask the designers of your jump, JACS Architecture, one question, what would it be?
If I could ask my designers anything, my question would be “When will there be an amusement park?” I’m dying to take all my friends!
RR: Would you go again? Recommend it to your friends and family?
I would go again, and I definitely recommend it. It was a thrilling experience I won’t soon forget! I know my daring sister Skipper would love the adrenaline rush, for sure.
RR: If you could change the setting and jump from anywhere, from where would you jump?
Oh, I’d love to have an amusement park with this bungee jump on the beach in Malibu. Beautiful scenery and a heart-stopping ride would be the perfect combo. Maybe we could even have a water slide!
