Do you not not have a valentine and are feeling like Valentine’s Day is pointless? This is your perfect opportunity to get together with your friends and have a Galentine’s Day party, so you do not feel left out this weekend. Here are a list of ideas to make this weekend the best with your gal pals.
Get your friends gifts. If you are hosting Galentine’s, get each one of the girls a little something. A cute cup with each girl’s name on it, pajamas or even a face mask would make a great party favor.
Galentine’s is all about the girls, and pink and red decor would be perfect for Instagram flicks with your friends. Heart-shaped balloons from the Dollar Tree make a cute, easy and inexpensive backdrop, or you can DIY your own Happy Galentine’s Day banner on the back of butcher paper. The banner could even be one of your party activities if your friends are crafty.
Good food is a must for your Galentine’s Day party. Chick-fil-A heart-shaped trays of nuggets and cookies would be perfect to share with all of your friends. Having all red and pink food is also super cute; tell all your gals to bring a different pink or red food and have a potluck!

Watching rom-coms is the perfect activity to do with your Galentines. Have everyone put a rom-com in a hat and pick them out to watch. Another idea is to paint plates or cups with your friends. Ella Barlodi ’26 said “I would love to decorate small cakes with my friends.” Madilyn Kim-Carillo ’27 also chimed in, saying, “I love getting together with all my friends and celebrating them.”
If you don’t have a Valentine this year, no worries. I hope you found some ideas for the perfect Galentine’s celebration with your besties. Happy Galentine’s Day!
