Red & Gold season is in full swing, and is about halfway done to performance week. Each category has been working hard learning choreography, singing, building props and so much more. As it gets closer to performance weekend, tickets have started to go on sale and are selling out fast!
Red & Gold is a weekend-long show with four showtimes: Friday Matinee, Friday Evening, Saturday Matinee and Saturday Evening. Tickets go on sale through four different waves to ensure captains and seniors have priority. Tickets will fully open to the public on Friday, Feb. 21 for all four show dates.
This week, there were three different dates for ticket releases: Feb. 11 for captains, Feb. 12 for Seniors and Feb. 14 for the entire student body. All students who are captains during this Red & Gold season had the opportunity to purchase five tickets this past Tuesday. Since this is the seniors’ last Red & Gold, they could also purchase five tickets on Wednesday.
The rest of the student body is now able to purchase four tickets with their special code until Monday, Feb. 17. Even though these special ticket sales are limited, Royals will get the chance to buy more tickets on Friday, Feb. 21.
Next Friday is when tickets will be open to the public and students will be able to invite their friends and family to see the show. All tickets are $35 each when purchased online and $40 if purchased at the box office. Red & Gold is a special time of the year; so many families will be attending the show to see all the hard work everyone has put in!

Gold house manager, Andrea Salazar ‘26 explains, “Buying tickets to see Red & Gold really shows your support to these girls and means the world because it is not only the captains, but the whole student body that puts time, effort and resources into the performance.” It is a very special performance that everyone should attend! If there are any family or friends that are unable to come in person, they are still able to view the show.
The Royal Review states, “There will be an option to purchase the link to livestream the Saturday night performance.” This is a great option for any relatives that live out of town, and anyone else who wants to watch the performance!
Red & Gold is one of the most loved traditions that everyone can participate and be apart of. The six weeks from Kick Off to performance weekend are tightly packed with costume fittings, learning new songs or dances and making sure everything is ready for the show date. All the time the captains have poured into the show from the start of winter break is celebrated when everyone can see the final show and share it with their friends and family. So, before tickets sell out, make sure to let relatives know and buy any tickets needed!
