Hi Royals, with this month being February, and Valetine’s day being a week away, it is time to celebrate our sisters and friends that we have created at Rosary. Galentine’s day is a holiday that Rosary loves to celebrate, and it is a nice way to commemorate your fellow Royals and spread some happiness around campus. From Feb. 4-12, you can buy Galentine’s grams for two dollars in the quad at lunch. Both cash and credit cards are allowed; however, they will not accept Apple Pay. When you have time, make sure to stop by the ASB table and choose which candies or snacks you want to send to your friends.
After talking to an ASB member, Taryn Litfin ’28, she shared why sending your friends a gram is a great idea when she said, “The Galentine’s gram is a cute idea for spreading a little kindness towards your friends at Rosary. You might not know what people are going through, and a little surprise might just be the thing they need to cheer up!” Even the thought can bring a smile to someone’s day.
Sophomore Kylie Kennedy ’27, shared that she was planning on ordering a few grams for her friend when she said, “I would like to buy my friends Galentine’s grams because it gives me a way to surprise them with something that brings them joy and allows us to grow stronger in our relationships.” Whether you’re a freshman, a sophomore, a junior or a senior, you can become closer with your Rosary sisters because it is a thoughtful gift for them to receive.

If you wish to participate in buying a few grams, don’t forget your wallets, and stop by the table in the quad during your lunches. All grams will be delivered on Feb. 14, so remember to listen for your name when the ASB members arrive to your classroom with their special deliveries. If you have any further question, feel free to reach out to Ms. La Bonte ’09 or other ASB members. Happy Galentine’s!
