At the end of the day, when the world goes astray, the teachers of Rosary partay. Well, at least that’s what I think they do… If you are ready to embark on an arduous journey, continue reading as I answer one of life’s age-old questions: What goes on in Rosary’s Teachers’ Lounge?
However, before I get into the meat of things, I wanted to share some of my theories about the enigmatic teacher’s lounge:
My first theory is that there are several comically large dart boards hanging on the walls of the teacher’s lounge to help the Rosary staff release all their stress and frustrations. On a similar note, I also suspect that there is a state-of-the-art yoga studio in the teachers’ lounge for those same reasons. However, if I am wrong about these, I commend our teachers for being able to handle 180 days with us students!
Moving on, I am almost 100% sure that the teacher’s lounge has a recording studio for Mrs. Davidson, Sra. Kappe ’03 and Mrs. Vasquez. While I have no concrete evidence to prove this, I would keep an eye out for the next big album of 2025.
Finally, in light of the recent surge in faculty pregnancies, I have reason to believe that a nursery is being built in the faculty lounge at this very moment. If I am right, the next time you hear a wailing noise in the hallway, I can assure you that it is not coming from those creepy Psych babies…
In response to my first three theories, Mrs. Davidson expressed, “If there were a yoga studio, I would not participate because I am not a yoga person. However, if they were to put a basketball hoop in there, I would definitely be spending a lot of my time there. Now, as far as dart boards go, I can neither confirm nor deny their existence, but it sounds like a great way to relieve stress. As with the existence of a recording studio, I could very much see myself bringing in my recorder and having recording sessions with Sra. Kappe.” Though these facilities have yet to exist in the teachers’ lounge, I strongly believe that Rosary’s admin should at least consider adding some of them for our wonderful teachers.
Moreover, while three of my theories were debunked, Mrs. Vasquez somewhat confirmed my last one, stating, “There is no nursery at the moment, but there is starting to be a new mother’s room where we can take a moment to rest or help care for our children.” First off, what a wonderful thing to have. Secondly, they call me Adreanna Holmes for a reason!
All in all, Rosary’s faculty is a truly special group that takes “I teach, what’s your superpower?” to a whole different level. Thus, yoga studio or not, they are what makes the teachers’ lounge so special and exclusive.
