Winter Formal is right around the corner, and Royals and Friars are stirring with excitement. On Saturday, Feb. 1, students will arrive at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach for the first dance of the new semester.
In addition to the adorable dresses, cute shoes and pictures with friends, winter formal proposals are always an exciting aspect of this upcoming event. Many of our beautiful Royals have gotten the chance to say “yes” to their dates who asked them with creative posters.
Junior Mia Paquette got asked by her boyfriend with an amazing Tangled-themed poster. She said, “I had a feeling he was going to ask me that night because we planned to hang out. He snuck the poster in my car, then he opened the trunk, and it was in there with lights.” The lights are definitely a creative touch!
Additionally, Servite senior Adam Hirsch asked senior Savina Padilla this past Monday. A lot of thought went into the horse themed poster. Savina shared her thoughts saying, “I wasn’t that surprised because he already told me he was going to ask me, but the theme was very cute.” Adam did a great job in creating a unique poster that Savina ended up loving.
While having a winter formal date is cute and fun, remember that attending the dance with your friends is just as enjoyable. Either way, don’t forget to make the most of it because these will be fond memories to look back on.
