New semester, new year, and new goals! Seniors, now that it is time for our last semester at the academy, we must stay on track to graduate. If you need help finding motivation, here are some inspiring goals from your fellow Royals:
Jesslyn Abobo ‘25 said, “My goal for this year is to do my best and finish out my final season of robotics strong. I have enjoyed it so much and am really grateful to compete with my team.” Taking part in Servite’s robotics program since freshman year, Jesslyn can inspire all of us due to commitment to her team.
Speaking of teamwork, Addison Patz ‘25, who is part of the Rosary Mock Trial team, shared, “Since our school is in the top 8, I am really excited to see how far we can go and look forward to our next competition in late January.” Addison has also been a four-year member of the team. Moreover, working as a witness, she plays a vital role in the team; her goal to end the season strong is admirable.
For our last senior, we have Bella Contreras ‘25, who is very eager for Kairos this spring: “I am going to Kairos again this Spring and could not be happier. My goal is to make it the best time ever!” Faith is the foundation and core of our school. Thus, while having worldly goals is important, it is equally important to participate in events like Kairos to keep ourselves grounded and in touch with our faith.
Us seniors on the Royal Reporter also have many goals we wish to accomplish. Adreanna Esquivias ’25 says, “Right now my goal is to finish my college applications because I am so close to finally being done.” Gabrielle Lazo ’25 adds, “My goal is to save more money so that I can travel to more places this summer.”
As we approach the end of our time at Rosary with a mix of nostalgia and bittersweet feelings, it is important to continue having goals to make the most of our final moments here.
