Rosary’s annual Christmas Concert, “Ring in the Joy,” took place this past Tuesday, Dec. 10th, in the Karcher Center. Rosary families and friends came to support the students and faculty members who performed at this highly anticipated event.
The choir and orchestra classes performed traditional and modern Christmas carols. These performances captured the essence of Rosary’s Christmas spirit. The Musical Theater class also performed their original Christmas skit that was written by the students themselves. Junior Giselle Gomez, who performed at the concert, shared her thoughts, “I had a really great time. Dr. Frey-Monell did an amazing job arranging everything, and I thought the musical theater class performed wonderfully.”
Additionally, the Rosary Math Department played an important role in this year’s Christmas concert. Math Teacher Ms. Mangold shared, “I had a really fun time at the Christmas concert getting to play the handbells with some of my colleagues and our wonderful students.” Math Department Chair Mrs. Davidson also said, “The music was beautifully performed and was a great way to put me in the Christmas spirit. I really enjoyed everyone’s performance, and I was especially impressed by the new song from the music composition class.” Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our teacher’s performances and cannot wait for next year!
Rosary is extremely proud of all the students and faculty members that participated in the Christmas concert. This event was a great way for them to showcase their amazing talent and all of their hard work throughout the year.
