Taylor Swift ended “The Eras Tour” this past Sunday in Vancouver. Her sold-out tour made a whopping two billion as she performed all over the world in a total of 149 concerts. In my experience, the whole concert experience was a once-in-a-lifetime event that was so much fun. Even though the concert was nearly four hours long, my fellow Royals and I can agree that we enjoyed every minute. Some Royals, sadly, could not attend, but they could still enjoy watching the live streams and guessing the surprise songs at the end of her concerts. Hear what some Royal Swifties think about the Tour and its ending:
Sophomore Grace Hoyos says, “It was amazing. Even though I wasn’t able to go, I’ve watched almost all the grainy live streams of the concert. I’m sad it’s over as it was something I looked forward to watching during my free time but I’m excited for the future things to come. It was truly something rare that I’ll remember all too well,” Fortunately, they made a movie of the concert where Royals who didn’t see her live could watch her on the big screen.
Addison Felix ’26 shares her love for the Eras Tour as she states, “I really loved going to the Eras Tour and I always loved seeing all the fans throughout the city, in the airport, or in the hotels! It was such a great experience because everyone was always creative with their outfits, and I got to meet so many fans while trading bracelets. This tour started in my freshman year, and I was able to experience it even through my junior year, so while I am sad that it ended, I am so thankful I had the opportunity to experience it with my friends and family,”
For me, this tour has been one of the best experiences ever. I was lucky to see Taylor in August of 2023 when she announced her album “1989 (Taylor’s Version).” I still remember the day I got the tickets and was so excited to see Taylor live. One part of the Eras Tour is the surprise songs where she plays a mashup of her songs that weren’t in the original setlist every night. She plays one mashup on guitar and one on piano and this was one of my favorite parts of the concert. Each night is different and adds to the night.
Another big part is the friendship bracelets. Every person attending the concert makes bracelets that you can trade. I’ve done it, and it is indeed such a fantastic experience and a fun way to meet more Taylor Swift fans. Marissa Valencia ’25 and I made almost 100 bracelets the night before the concert. It was a bad idea (Considering every Michaels had no beads), but we both had a lot of fun!
So, as we say, So Long, Eras Tour, Long Live to all the memories the Royals made during the tour, and who knows maybe Taylor will announce her next album soon.
