Happy Holidays, Royals! Since Christmas is less than a month away, many teachers have started to decorate and bring the holiday cheer to their classrooms. Some teachers whose classrooms stand out are Dr. Parmar, Ms. Mangold and Ms. Brinegar ’16. Each of our lovely teachers have decorated their rooms with garlands, ornaments and lights that show their love for Christmas, but which one is the best? Keep reading below to see pictures and quotes from each teacher and their rooms.
One of our science teachers, Dr. Parmar, decorated his room with garlands, Advent candles and two miniature Christmas trees. These decorations might not seem like a lot, but he believed his room has the best decorations because “It was a team effort since my students helped me too.” Below, you can see Dr. Parmar in room with all of his decorations. He did a great job tying in the Christmas and Catholic cheer to his science room.
Next, Ms. Mangold, a teacher in the math department, showed her excitement for Christmas by adding a four-and-a-half-foot Christmas tree, a miniature Christmas tree, ribbons, lights and garlands to her classroom. She shared, “I think my classroom is the best decorated because I have lots of lights and many different creative elements that help make my room shine. I have light up garlands, ribbons on that cabinets to make them look like presents and more than one Christmas tree!” To the right, you can see the lovely decorations described. Maybe in your opinion, this one is the best?
Lastly, in the English Department, Ms. Brinegar added a touch of Christmas to her room by hanging ornaments from the ceiling and draping a festive green garland over the television. When asking her why she thinks her room is the best, she responded saying, “I think that my room gives a unique holiday spirit throughout the space. My favorite feature is the hanging ornaments from the ceiling and the jingle bell on the door since they give a nice touch to the room. So, I think my decorations really show the festive and jolly side of Christmas season.” To the left is Ms. Brinegar’s room with her decorations!
Overall, each of these teachers have done a fantastic job decorating their rooms for Christmas. However, it is up to you to decide which classroom is the best. Make sure to vote and share your feedback with the poll on the front page of the Royal Reporter!
