Calling all future Royals! The Women in Sports and Pathways Information Night is on Monday, December 2 from 6-8p.m. in the Karcher Center. Anyone interested in partaking in an academic pathway or Rosary athletics is welcome to attend this informational event.
There are seven academic pathways available for students including medical, performing arts, leadership, computer science, sports medicine, engineering, and law. Pathways require students to do some extra work, but they provide internship opportunities and guide students in their journey toward their career path.
Assistant Principal of Academics Samantha Hunt stated, “Monday, December 2nd is a night for incoming students to learn more about the Pathway Program we offer here at Rosary Academy. Multiple rooms will be open with teachers and staff that are experts in that field to answer questions and give insight to different Pathways.”
Furthermore, Rosary’s stellar athletics department offers 15 CIF sports that compete in the Pacific Coast Conference, and skilled and supportive coaches offer proper guidance to all student-athletes to build their confidence and leadership. At this event, information regarding sports teams and registration will be available.
Athletic director Tom Tice shares the value in attending this open house: “The best benefit of attending athletic open house is speaking with individual coaches and players from each program, and thereby learning about the culture, expectations, and commitment required of playing each sport.”
Attending the open house will be an amazing opportunity to explore some of Rosary’s various extracurriculars. Whether you are interested in athletics or the Pathways, it is always good to expand your horizons!
